How to Create an Introduction in LinkedIn®!
Find the contact or person that you want to be introduced to, remember that they need to be in your network of three levels
- Decide how to be introduced:
- Send InMail
- Get Introduced through a connection
- Add “xxxxx” to your network
- Forward his profile to a connection
- Search for references
- We will select “one our 1st level contacts ” to get introduced
- You need to make a selection of your 1st level contact that will deliver the introduction to the contact, then hit the continue button
- You need to craft the email to your 1st level contact and the connection that you are asking to be introduced too.
- Remember that all levels can read all messages, keep them business only.
- After you are comfortable with your text message (use Microsoft Word or Outlook to check spelling and grammar) click the send button.
- Your introduction is on its way.
- Also remember not to use the same 1st level contact to forward messages for you more than once per week. If you do you will tarnish the relationship and help they are giving you.
